HR Officer (Arabic Speaking)

Charterhouse

Dubai, UAE

Ref: GP186-2636

Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Charterhouse is working with a leading web design business specialised in the app market. Due to recent, rapid growth our client is looking to hire an Arabic Speaking HR Officer to join the business in a dedicated HR role.

This is a newly created HR function and will involve setting up new systems and procedures. Whilst the business has the basics of leave forms and sickness policies, these are in their infancy, consequently you will be required to ensure that the company has a comprehensive system that is being fully enforced. You will also deal with the recruitment of both temporary and permanent staff at all levels. In addition, you will create job descriptions, and ensure that these are used against the performance management framework to measure employees during their annual reviews.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have more than 3 years’ HR experience. It is essential you have UAE experience, therefore a relocating candidate will not be considered for this role. You should have a background in designing and implementing procedures, in particular performance management and appraisal systems, ideally with exposure to the tech market or alternatively, marketing and advertising. Fluency in Arabic and English is crucial for this position.

The growth in the Middle East region has been mirrored by Charterhouse globally, with offices now in Qatar, Hong Kong, Singapore, Melbourne and Sydney.
