The Opportunity
Exciting opportunity with one of the largest banks based in Dubai, looking for a Rewards Specialist/ Expert within Human Resources (Rewards). We are looking for a Rewards specialist to oversee and administer the employee’s perfect rewards and smart benefits. The goal is to attract, retain and motivate high quality employees while reducing turnover and enhancing our company’s profile as best place to work. This role will report to the Head of Reward, who has over 12 years of experience from leading HR strategy firms.

Main Responsibilities

Under the overall supervision of the Head of Reward one will undertake three key activities:
• Total Reward and Recognition
• Performance Management and activities.
• HR projects
• Analyze current rewards and recognition programs to ensure they align with the Bank’s business strategy and ensure that rewards programs optimize the ability to attract, motivate and retain top talent.
• Lead the definition and designing of the Bank’s Employee Value Proposition especially in relation to total rewards and recognition elements.
• Analyse the market competitiveness and cost-effectiveness of rewards to ensure they optimize our ability to attract top talent using various methods and techniques to make data-based decisions on direct financial, indirect financial and non-financial compensation and benefits elements.
• Provide comprehensive support to key reward initiatives including salary review processes, market benchmarking, functional remuneration and incentive schemes and policy and processes.
• Complete annual salary surveys, liaising with the reward team, HR and the business to ensure timely completion and return.
• To assist on Reward team projects including policy development and new process implementation and to provide advice and guidance to the HR community as required
• Lead the annual Performance management process and ensure it is effectively communicated to managers and staff and HR teams have a clear understanding of their role.

Salary:
AED 24,000 to 30,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Minimum current 3 years working with a Banking and Financial Services organizations
• Experience as a Reward Consultant or similar role
• Critical thinking skills and thought leadership paramount
• Strategic planning and thinking skills imperative
• Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
