Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client, a privately owned, multi-dimensional, family group who are primarily focussed on the construction sector, is looking for an experienced HRIS Specialist to join their Abu Dhabi based team on a contract basis.

The role includes many key accountabilities including the following,
- Serve as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and assist subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of HR systems, report writing and analysing data flows for process improvement activities. Supports HRIS upgrades, testing and other technical projects.
- Thoroughly test new and updated business process in HRIS
- Analyse and report on HR data to determine trends, issues, and possible solutions
- Responsible for leading the planning – implementation of HRIS related projects
- Set up and maintain tables required for HRIS functions
- Assist with the development of test plans and test scripts; document test results
- Assist with the design of performance and reporting templates
- Assist users in streamlining HRIS business processes
- Perform activities and other related tasks and duties as assigned or required

Requirements

- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Human Resources or a related field
- 5 years minimum of working experience with HRIS using the JDE applications, benefits, salary administration, and HR compliance management applications
- Demonstrate skills in successfully trouble-shooting HRIS technical and functional issues
- Project management skills are desirable
- Ability to make independent decisions with general directions from management with respect to moderately complex issues and business requirements
- Ability to thrive in a changing work environment
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work with others closely as part of a team while being able to take full responsibility for a task
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office
- Experience in planning and implementing HRIS projects
