UAE National - HSE Manager - AFM - Dubai

We are currently seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager who will be responsible for implementing, coordinating and managing the HSE Programmes in order to ensure Al-Futtaim Motor's compliance with the standard regulation and requirements imposed by Government Authorities. This position will require you to regularly visit the Al-Futtaim Motors sites across all of the emirates to monitor and maintain the daily processes, make improvements where necessary, eliminate all potential risks and hazards and provide ongoing HSE Awareness training to all associates.

You will be responsible for investigating accidents, injuries and occupational hazards and illnesses to determine causes and therefore implement preventative measures to avoid recurrence. Building and maintaining relationships with local authorities and additional relevant organisations, it is essential that you remain constantly updated with the local regulations and requirements in order to facilitate any required changes.

Requirements

It is essential that you are a university graduate whilst holding an NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent will be advantageous. You will have a proven track record in a HSE position and therefore have a sound knowledge in incident reporting, investigation and project process management.

You must be self motivated, have the ability to analyse complex problems, evaluate options and make creative and informed recommendations to attain a robust HSE standard throughout Al-Futtaim Motors. Having the ability to speak, read and write in both English and Arabic is essential for this role in order to maintain and develop the required internal and external relationships.
