HSE Manager - Al Futtaim Logistics

Job description / Role

We are currently seeking an HSE Manager to work within our corporate office of Al-Futtaim Logistics. The HSE Manager will work within the HSE team and will report directly into the Managing Director. The main purpose of this role is to handle the responsibility of maintaining facilities to protect employees and customers by adhering to safety, security and service standards.

The HSE Manager will coordinate with HSE related authorities within the business unit of the emirate and will address any necessary actions to minimise and manage risks and to comply with legal requirements. It will be the responsibility of the HSE Manager to plan, develop and implement security plans and programmes such as Emergency Response, Crisis Management and Incident Investigation.

The HSE Manager will be accountable for conducting periodic reviews of the HSE policies and procedures and will coordinate HSE related training to meet the business requirements and best practise standards.

Requirements

You will ideally hold a professional/accredited HSE qualification and will have a minimum of 5 years work experience within a Facility HSE role. In addition it would be advantageous if you hold any qualifications or certifications on auditing or risk management and if you have an active membership in a HSE professional body.

This role requires you to be a highly focused individual who has risk based flexibility. You will have the ability to prioritise your own work and will hold the necessary management skills to maintain a successful team.
