Job description / Role
Purpose:
- Monitor and analyze HSE performance, improve safety culture and conduct internal safety inspections.
- Monitor and implement HSE policies and procedures on site.
Policies and Procedures:
- To implement the HSE policies and procedures on site for staff.
- To provide innovations and recommendations for safety culture improvement/advancement
- To carry out visual site safety inspections.
- Provision of advice regarding HSE queries
Training:
- Conduct HSE training and HSE meetings as determined by the HSE training program or as per requirements.
- To implement audit programs.
- Scheduling, planning and record keeping of third party trainings and certifications.
- To conduct COSHH assessments, work place assessments and generic/specific risk assessments
Reports:
- To monitor and analyze HSE performance reports
- Surveillance, clearance and supervision of sub-contractors
- Consolidation & analysis of Non Conformance Reports,
- Implement preventative and corrective actions
Requirements
- Graduate/ Engineer
- Certifications: NEBOSH International Certification / SARS
- Minimum 4 years of experience in HSE,
- JAFZA exp is a must
- Understanding of Yard operations preferred
Skills:
- Written and Spoken English Communication skills
- Interpersonal and organizational skills
- Knowledge of MS Office
