HVAC Engineer (Hotel Project) – UAE

Linum Consult’s client is an international engineering consultancy currently seeking an HVAC Engineer for a significant hotel construction project in Abu Dhabi.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviewing and approving all HVAC Designs submitted by the contractors
• Ensuring that all sub developer designs are in accordance with International codes, standards and specifications
• Assisting in defining the process for execution of engineering activities related to all types of HVAC and MEP systems, and identifying the need for speciality assistance
• Providing technical guidance to CAD designers/drafters, designers and engineers working on the same project
• Providing regular reports on progress to the Head of Technical Engineering Services

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 8-10 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally with a history of working with Middle Eastern MEP contractors or consultancies
• Previous history of working on high-end hotel construction projects, or mixed-use building projects
• Technical design knowledge of HVAC systems
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, with any Arabic language skills a plus
