Job Description & Summary
A career in Information Technology, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients. You'll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.

Our Information Technology Security team assists PwC in designing and creating sustainable security solutions to provide foundational capabilities and operational discipline through a focus on enterprise requirements and prioritisation, Information Technology security architecture, and the software development lifecycle.

As a member of the Business Services team you will be the focal point within NIS to support the PwC client facing teams on challenging problems, offering in depth expertise around our internal security posture to ensure credibility and confidence in the handling of client data. In addition you will work to support our internal customer network, made up of 157 firms across multiple countries. Here the focus will be on leading and supporting the integration of local security teams into the NIS organisation driving a consistent and cohesive security strategy throughout the business.

Job Summary

PwC is driving major change across information & cyber security by building a centralized model to provide security services across the entire member firm network.
Mandated at the network level, Network Information Security (NIS) operates outside IT is responsible for this major program initiative, from definition of the security strategy to execution of the global Cyber Readiness Program, moving from local to global services.

Our mission is to identify, control & reduce the attack surface across the member firm network while increasing our adversaries' cost of attack.
In order to deliver the Cyber Readiness Program the NIS team is structured into the following Pillars:

- Information Security Risk & Compliance (ISRC)
- Chief Information Security Office (CISO)
- Security Architecture, Engineering, Innovation & Transformation (SAEIT)
- Cyber
- Business Services
- Chief of Staff

The Business Services pillar within NIS is responsible for the following services:

Scope of Responsibility:
The Client Interaction team works closely with US and global risk management, security, and IT organizations, and is responsible for the following tasks

- Building Client trust in PwC's security posture
- Satisfying stakeholder needs related to security control requirements and regulatory compliance
- Working with business, IT, and global teams as a representative of the risk management organization
- Representing the IT and NIS organization when meeting directly with PwC clients regarding MSAs, SOWs, and RFP responses

- Build and maintain relationships across the network of firms to effectively deliver security activities on behalf of NIS

Requirements

- Education Level: Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA, BS) in Information technology or related field of study and/or completed certifications involving cybersecurity
- Experience Level: 4 - 6 Years' of progressive professional roles involving information security, IT management and/or major program management

An effective Client Interaction candidate will also possess the following skills:

- Analytical: Inquisitive nature and intuition regarding what questions to ask, when, and their relative significance.
- Technical: Broad understanding of security technology.
- Business: High level understanding of PwC's business model, service offerings, and business operating environment as it pertains to the firm's threat landscape. Ability to frame threats and exposures in a business context recognized by non-technical staff and executives.
- Domain landscape: Knowledge of assurance and technical security principles
- Communication: Ability to leverage business communication skills to inform, persuade, and teach stakeholders across a global network of member firms' staff and leadership to enable effective information security activities and processes in line with the cyber readiness program
