A career in Risk Management, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to advance and foster integrity based decision making and conduct by PwC professionals throughout our organisation. You'll focus on promoting and monitoring compliance with applicable external laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures to help manage PwC's regulatory, litigation, and reputational risk.

Our Risk and Quality team identifies and assists internal teams to mitigate and control client engagement risks. As part of the team, you'll provide advice to business teams within PwC on sound contract provisions, standards and approaches in accordance with PwC policies, principles and standards.

Opportunity

Consulting Risk & Quality ("R&Q") are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant/Manager to join their team.  The role focuses on driving the risk and quality agenda across Consulting. The role will also include participation in special projects to deliver the continued change that is needed to increase the success and profitability of Consulting.
 
The selected individual will have the unique opportunity to get a broad overview of the Consulting practice across the region and to interact with the Consulting Leadership Team, as well as the Partner/Director group across all Business Units.

Consulting continues to grow across the Middle East region and there are increasingly complex quality and risk aspects that need to be addressed to support our continued success.

Role/ Job description

The Consulting R&Q team advises client-facing staff on internal risk management matters. The Senior Consultant/Manager will work as a key part of this team with a broad range of activities and responsibilities which will include contact with partners and staff of all grades across Consulting, as well as other parts of the firm including Independence, Compliance, the Office of General Counsel and the Risk & Quality teams in other Lines of Services.

This role will have a broad range of activities including

- Being the first point of contact for queries from consulting engagement teams, providing timely and solution-focused pragmatic advice.
- Proactively supporting the pursuit of large scale transformation opportunities, working alongside the Activation Hub, Independence, OGC and often Consulting leadership.
- Negotiating with clients on contracting challenges, with support from OGC and senior stakeholders in the business.
- Delivering training to partners and staff across Consulting, including one-to-one sessions and seminar-based training.
- Building trusted relationships across Consulting and other support teams, acting as a dedicated business advisor to Partners and Directors.

Requirements

Knowledge, skills and abilities

- The selected individual will be a Manager or an experienced Senior Consultant with client facing experience in working with a Consulting firm or in an internal Risk & Quality role in a Big 4.
- The individual must be proficient in English and preferably an Arabic speaker (but not a must)
