Position Overview
We currently are looking for a Technology Advisory Senior Analyst to join the Technology Advisory group within PWC's Dubai HQ. The role includes data analysis, data extraction, project management, ERP knowledge, BI reporting, business partnership, requirement gathering and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the position are

- Supporting roll out of a data platform across the firm
- Reviewing ERP extraction templates and translating technical terminology to business terminology
- Provide hands-on support for all Data related activities within the team
- Creating and deploying reporting internally and externally
- Supporting PMO functions across the team
- Training the business on technology platforms and driving adoption
- Presenting at events and demonstrating capabilities of the platform
- Provide the best practices and guidelines for client adoption of the platform
 

Requirements

Experience and Knowledge

Essential Skills

- Three core skills needed across data extraction & analysis, project management and visualization.
- Comfortable with having conversations with internal and external teams to understand technical concepts and explaining them to business teams
- Experience with visualization tools (Eg Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau)
- Experience with Project Management Tools (Eg MS Project, Jira, DevOps)
- Knowledge of ERP platform modules (Eg SAP, Oracle)
- Use of data extraction tools extracting data from ERP platforms (Eg SAP, Oracle)
- Knowledge of Master Data Management solutions
- Understanding of data analysis techniques and how they can be applied
- Experience in data interpretation
- Self-starter and motivator with the ability to work in an autonomous fast paced environment
- The ability to quickly learn and understand new business environments
- The ability to achieve high quality results by paying attention to detail
- A proactive, "can do" attitude
- The ability to work on multiple tasks/projects, work under pressure and meet agreed deadlines
- A natural desire to share knowledge and teach others
- The ability to influence groups of people to gain consensus

Desirable Skills

- Experience in working with a range of data tools for example, Ab Initio, Informatica, DataFlux, Datanomic, Trillium, Teradata, IBM InfoSphere DataStage SQL, Access/Excel, Tableau, MicroStrategy, etc..
- Able to deliver a broad range of data engagements in areas such as Data Architecture, Data Integration, Data Analytics, Data Lineage, Data Governance, Data Quality and BI Reporting
- Experience working with teams across multiple physical locations

Qualifications

- Bachelor degree in Statistics, Information Technology, Computer Science or Software Engineering related discipline preferred
