Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsible for transforming the business requirements into architecture and design documents in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
- Gather, document and present estimates for efforts.
- Translates high-level, complex business requirements into technical specifications, manages changes to such specifications and educate clients and peers on the direction of the business impacted by a specific solution or a project.
- Must be able to understand and predict how all the pieces will fit together and identify potential issues and risks to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Has advanced communication and negotiation skills, as well as an innate ability to simplify complex technology concepts and to plan, prioritize and seamlessly integrate all moving parts to deploy successful solutions.
- Work as part of the Customer Implementation team to deliver repeatable, scalable solutions in an effective and cost-efficient manner.
- Collaborates with business and technology teams to develop basic to complex solutions for clients.
- Designs, creates, and delivers routine to complex technical specifications for solutions and supports on multiple projects/issues with an advanced understanding of the platforms.
- Provides project implementation support to clients; ensuring customer expectations are exceeded.
- Coordinates with internal teams (Business, Project Management, QA and so on) to understand the project/task requirements and facilitate in order to ensure delivery on commitments.
- Manages non-routine, complex processing and change requests, as well as short term tactical and strategic customer initiatives.
- Acts as the Project Technical Lead for various initiatives – both internal and external – using Project Management best practices and skills.
- Proactively identifies operational opportunities to increase service quality or efficiency.
- Builds and enhances positive working relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders.
- Responsible for own work flow assignments and must be able to take the initiative to resolve problems and meet deadlines.

Requirements

- Extensive knowledge of the Payment Industry – Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities;
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualification(s)
- Strong technical background – Experience with ISO 8583 protocol, SOA, SQL and Programming.
- Experience with common payment industry oriented tools e.g. VTS, FinSim, MCPS, MAS and so on.
- Good knowledge of the card payments industry and the international card payment schemes, chip-card (EMV contact and contactless) and mobile payment technology, including NFC contactless and Secure Elements.
- Experience with payment scheme oriented certifications.
- Knowledge of Revolving credits.
- Working knowledge of full transaction cycle (Authorization, Clearing and Settlement, Dispute Management and so on).
- Knowledge of card personalization and key management/cryptographic is a plus.

- FACILITATION AND NEGOTIATION – Demonstrates the ability to stay on task and lead to results, maintain scope, and negotiate between differing objectives to arrive at consensus within time frames given.
