Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

A large construction main contractor are currently recruiting for an experienced Integrated Management Systems (IMS) Manager for their Dubai head office. The company have projects across the Middle East with an emphasis on infrastructure and marine projects in the UAE, Qatar, Oman and Saudi Arabia. They are a fast growing company who are emerging as a contender to the largest international main contractors working in the region.

Reports to: Executive Director – Governance and Systems

Responsibilities:
- Implement the Integrated Management Systems (IMS) policy and follow up of internal IMS indicators & objectives
- Carry out a gap analysis of existing IMS and make recommendations; and will monitor this system closely, identifying non-compliance, ensuring corrective action has taken place in a timely manner and managing the continuous process development;
- With a focus on HSE & Q this person will be the owner of the company’s IMS
- Provides hands-on & consulting support to Company personnel & sub contractors in implementation of HSEQ, IMS, and ISO policies & procedures.
- Conduct IMS internal audits and assessments and follow-up all action plans with stakeholders in a time bound frame.
- Promote and coordinate the IMS project assuring adequate internal communication, training and information
- Edit and manage the Integrated Management Systems manual and management system related documents.
- Plan external and internal audits.
- Ensure the cross-functionality and implementation of the systems
- Establish improvement objectives based on requirements.
- Maintain customer focus in process implementation and improvement.
- Provide quality tools and knowledge in solving various problems.
- Plan, organize and follow up of management reviews.
- Enhance the IMS culture and strive for Excellence
- Participate in various committees meeting & prepare weekly & monthly reports the Top Management

Requirements

- 10+ years professional experience
- 5 years in a similar position
- University degree in a relevant subject
- NEBOSH Certificate is preferred
- Candidates must be experienced in the implementation of IMS policy
