Job description / Role
Indian Specialty Chef up to 7.7k Aed++ for a 5-Star Hotel in Dubai
• POSITION: Indian Specialty Chef
• SALARY: 7,000 AED basic salary + 1 bedroom apartment, quarterly bonus, transportation, duty meals, uniform, annual ticket and insurance
• HIRING COMPANY: 5-Star Hotel
• LOCATION: Dubai, UAE
• AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately or maximum 1-month
• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Open to INDIAN nationals only
• Male, 35 years old and below
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Degree in Pastry / Bakery / Hotel Management or its equivalent
• Minimum of 3-4 years in a supervisory level at least Sous Chef position, preferably from a 5-star hotel
• HACCP certification is a plus
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Supervises the Outlet Kitchen in the preparation and presentation of all food items in accordance with the hotel’s SOPs and standardized menu guidelines
• Monitors all aspects pertaining to the control of the hotel’s food cost
• Monitors regular standards of production to ensure highest level of quality
• Participates in menu engineering
• Ensures consistent on the job training sessions for workmates and subordinates
• Ensure HACCP standards are implemented and follow the appropriate hygiene standards as per Municipality requirements at all times
• Ensures that the outlet’s operational budget is in line and costs are strictly controlled maximizing profitability
