Information Security Expert

Job description / Role

Halian International, a global IT services business, is currently seeking an Information Security Expert with a minimum of 8 years experience in Governance, Risk and Compliance. Based out of Abu Dhabi, UAE, this will be an initial 6 month contract working for one of the UAE’s leading IT Service providers.

As Information Security Expert, you will be responsible for periodic, timely risk assessment of information security systems and sub-systems to determine compliance with defined policies or standards.

As Information Security Expert, you should recommend and influence new or existing security processes, procedures and methodologies whilst designing new security processes or improves existing ones.

Also, you will be conducting high level security gap analysis to gauge information security outlooks. You will be tasked with assessing a client's information technology security and should be able to determine its ability to meet the client's current and future business objectives and strategic direction, whilst providing a comprehensive report of the assessment to the client.

Requirements

- 8-12 years of experience in Governance, Risk and Compliance (bank experience preferred), needs to be ISO27001 Lead Auditor / Lead Implementer, has worked with ADSIC v2 and NESA Compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field
- Business continuity and disaster recovery certifications. CISA is strong advantage
- SOC 1, SOC 2 Reporting.
