Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will be an integral part of our dynamic sales & marketing team. You will formulate, and follow up on quotations for event proposals, ensuing all proposals are responded to efficiently and negotiated to benefit the business and meet budgets. You will maintain strong relationships with clients, and be proactive about prospective business leads. You will assist in the coordination of conferences and events, and will work with departments across the hotel to deliver excellent service for clients.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated sales experience in a hotel environment, and be comfortable in an operational and reactive work space. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills and highly professional telephone manner. You will be a skilled negotiator, solution focused for clients, and have an excellent ability to multitask and prioritise where required. You will embrace collaboration, and confidently engage with team from across the business. A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is essential to be successful in this role, and experience with OPERA would be highly preferable. Arabic Speaker is a must
