Job description / Role
Our client, a leading organization in the UAE, is looking for an Instrument Engineer to join their growing team in Dubai.
As an Instrument Engineer, your role is to support all Offshore Assets, Instrumentation, control, safeguard and condition monitoring systems to improve the instrumentation and controls overall reliability. Provides technical advice to determinate best practices in the field of reliability and the most appropriate work methods to prevent repeat failures. Where assigned an upgrade project, to be the onshore single point of contact for the upgrade and modification
Requirements
In able to qualify for the role, you must have Completed Secondary (12 years) education, followed by 3 years Diploma or a Degree in Electrical/Instruments or Electronics training and qualifications (equivalent to UK, City, Guilds/ NVQ or ONC). Ideal candidate must have 10 years of experience in operation/Maintenance support to Offshore Oil & Gas Control & Instrumentation installations. Preference will be given to candidates who have had experience with control and instrumentation systems, Plan Information management system and working knowledge and experience in offshore oil & gas industry codes, specifications and practices. Excellent knowledge in Windows based programs, CMMS systems or Oracle is also highly essential.
