DMCC is currently looking for a strong and highly experienced Interior Design Manager to manage the full design process for the interiors of small, medium and large scale real estate projects from “visioneering” through to completion of full project life cycle including the development of design briefs and consultants scope documents for DMCC’s entire real estate portfolio.

This role is integral in the successful delivery of constructible designs that meet DMCC’s vision. Responsibilities include:

• Develop project specific “vision” documents and design briefs for interior design
• Oversee and work cohesively with external parties (design/engineering consultants, project management consultants, cost consultants, feasibility and capital/finance advisors, etc.) to ensure productive output and achievements in line with DMCC’s wider business objectives.
• Produce, maintain and present consolidated and current high level executive reports for development/real estate projects, highlighting critical issues/risks and providing recommendations and strategies/measures for executive level consideration
• Consult with and assist Operations/Asset Managers in identifying operational and life cycle issues and opportunities (including selection of FF&E, OS & E, materials and equipment, and the transfer of properties to DMCC’s portfolio or sale).
• Assist and guide design solutions, develop schedules and budgets for assigned projects inclusive of Unit Mockups, Office Upgrades, etc.

Requirements

To be considered for the role you need to have:

• Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• At least 10 years’ experience in design consultancy and/or design management
• Established track record of delivery of projects (built and successful)
• Highly proficient oral, written communication and presentation skills
