Job description / Role
Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary point of contact between the project team and contractors/subcontractors, facilitating effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of workmanship, and adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and building codes.
• Coordinate and schedule deliveries of materials, equipment, and manpower to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise on-site, promptly addressing concerns and implementing corrective actions as necessary to keep the project on track.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily progress reports, inspection logs, and change orders, to track project performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks and promote a safe working environment for all stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with the design team to interpret and implement design intent on-site, providing feedback and recommendations to optimize construction processes and achieve the desired aesthetic outcomes.
• Conduct regular meetings with project stakeholders to review progress, address issues, and identify opportunities for improvement, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
Salary:
AED
5,000 to 8,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the construction or interior design industry, with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing on-site operations for medium to large-scale projects.
• Preferably North Indian
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to achieve common goals.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to addressing challenges and optimizing project workflows.
• British citizenship or residency preferred, with a comprehensive understanding of local construction regulations, standards, and practices.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools, with the ability to generate accurate progress reports and manage project documentation effectively.
