Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client, a leading global organisation is looking for an Internal Communications Manager to lead the design, development and delivery of the internal communications strategy, plan and campaigns for the Middle East Region. The successful candidate will work alongside regional leadership to achieve the right level of employee engagement to achieve company vision and strategy.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- First line of contact for internal communication, advising and creating strong, effective internal communication programmes and campaigns.
- Develop internal communications strategy aligned to business vision and enable successful achievement of regional plan.
- Copy write and create content alongside stakeholder community outlined above.
- Design and manage content for both global and local communication channels including newsletters, videos, etc.
- Align internal communications with external messaging for the project.
- Develop and deliver appropriate mobilization agenda to drive cultural change – developing supporting collateral and events to achieve, effectively roles out and delivers.
- Maintain an external network that provides insight into best practice and innovation in internal communications and ensures content knowledge is fresh and up to the minute.
- Manage external service providers to achieve maximum return from investment in spend, ensuring innovation in channel selection.
- Manage with the support of others, a primary intranet platform and ensure consistency of messaging, aligned with plan and in tone, across all internal media platforms.
- Manage social media channels.

Requirements

- No less than 8 years’ experience in internal communications management
- Degree educated with an advanced or professional communication in marketing, communications or PR (CIM, CIPR, IDM etc.)
- Collaborative approach and strong team player
- Previous experience of employee branding and employee engagement, including culture change programmes
- Experience of C-suite relationships and ability to influence senior level discussion?making
- Experience in communications with a fragmented group of stakeholders, in multiple locations
- Exceptional writing and oral presentation skills
- Experience of new media in delivering communications
- Creativity and flair
- A track record of understanding new communications trends and their application to a changing employee pool, particularly new generations
- Experience of tracking and reporting on impact of communications
