Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client, a leading automotive supplier is currently recruiting for a International Sales Manager – Fixed Pitch Propellers. You will be directly reporting to the Head of Marine Global Sales

Purpose of the position:
- To provide overall direction and guidance for global Marine Fixed Pitch Propeller (FPP) Sales, including Sales Support.
- To work with sales managers and distributors in company’s global locations to progress FPP sales and to support the achievement of company’s business targets.

Major responsibilities include:
- Define yearly sales targets for each region in cooperation and agreement with the regional heads. Regularly monitor and report the achievement of these targets.
- Define the global strategy for FPP sales, identifying target market segments, customers, applications pricing strategies, etc. Ensure the strategy is aligned with company’s business objectives and profit targets.
- Develop, train and coach sales persons globally to enable them to effectively sell FPPs
- Work with the company’s management team to act on customer and market feedback, and ensure timely support is provided to the global sales force.
- Work with Market Intelligence team to regularly measure, analyze and report product market shares, project wins and losses, competitor activities, competitor marketing campaigns, competitor performance, etc.
- Work with the Marketing team to ensure the FPP product line is well publicized in brochures, exhibitions, etc.
- Travel globally to support sales teams in customer meetings, conduct business reviews, provide training, attend exhibitions, etc. as needed
- Participate in global and regional Marine meetings and events as required.
- Any other duties within the job function as delegated by General Manager

Requirements

- Previous experience of the Marine Business and an understanding of the Fixed Pitch Propeller business.
- At least 5 years sales experience in Marine
- Well-developed sense of customer support and relationship maintenance combined with an outgoing and open personality;
- Experience working in a multinational / global environment;
- Willing to travel whenever necessary;
