Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- To actively cross-sell the Bank's products and services and Originate new business opportunities with existing clients as well as generate leads in the market to add new corporate clients to the portfolio.
- Achieve individual targets set for both onshore and offshore.
- Market new business, and increase the gross profitability to the Division of existing customers within the portfolio as well as new-to-bank customers, in line with credit policies, underwriting standards and targets set by the Senior Manager.
- Increase utilisation of Bank and other subsidiaries / associates' products, with the emphasis on trade finance products.
- Maintain and control existing business to endeavour to ensure that our customers are of the highest standard with the aim maximising returns (EP) and profit of each relationship, the minimum being that laid down by credit policy.
- Maintain close contact with customers and monitor customer quality in order to minimise the risk of loss to the Bank.
- Approve limit applications granted under discretionary powers and recommend applications for higher level approval.
- Undertake regular inspection of assets and documents which represent security for the Bank.
- Ensure that all administration associated with the portfolio is done accurately in accordance with laid down procedures and on a timely basis.

Requirements

- University or college graduate and above
- Solid experience of the in Banking/Financial Industry in a client facing (RM) role for Corporate Clients
- Good knowledge of Bank's products, policies, guidelines, corporate law, and business strategy.
- General understanding of the economic, political and business environment of the region.
- Good credit appraisal and marketing skills with the ability to interpret financial information.
- Good communication and negotiation skills with multi-cultural awareness.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, networking and financial management skills.

* Arabic Language skill is mandatory
