Investment Manager

Job description / Role

We at Al Tayer Group are looking for an Investment Manager as part of the Corporate Finance Team to advise, to monitor and to track investment performance of the Group Investment Manager/ Investment Committee/ Board in order to support the implementation of new investment policy and decision making.

The incumbent shall proactively support the Group Investment Manager in delivering the group plans relating to investments, identifying short and long term gains and will liaise with consultants on due diligence processes for investment projects. He/ She would take the functional lead in conducting financial analysis, business reporting, and evaluations of suggested investment approaches.

The candidate would be aware of trends and market data and analyse and report data on a monthly basis.The role would include assessing specific investment opportunities, present investment analyses and provide strategic advise.

Requirements

As an Investment Manager you would have a Bachelor‘s degree from an accredited institution, complemented by a Master‘s degree (a plus) with an emphasis on Finance/ Economics or CFA, ACA would be preferable.

Must have 8-10 years of related experience in Banking or Family Office in handling portfolio management and investment analysis in a variety of asset classes including both public and private equity.

Should have strong ability to influence and present to senior leaders of investment opportunities and the organizational benefits. Possess good communication skills and highly analytical with strong interpretation and presentation capabilities. Must have excellent working knowledge of capital markets as well as investment management processes.
