Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The position is responsible for improving business productivity, the role involves examining existing business practices, IT Systems, policies and procedures and suggesting / implementing solutions to IT issues related to IT systems as well as Information Security

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage and Maintain all components of SAP GRC AC i.e. ARM, ARA, EAM, PSS and BRM
• Perform root cause analysis for security role stacking SOD issues, make recommendations for role removal, and follow up with business users to remove unnecessary role assignments
• Analyze all current/expired mitigations for appropriate assignments and update GRC with new mitigations (as needed)
• Implement Org Level rules in GRC to exclude specific entities
• Security role remediation
• Perform functional security configuration and maintenance tasks for SAP ECC, BI, Portal, Solution Manager and GRC Access Controls systems
• Represent SAP Security and GRC considerations in department and company-wide projects
• Interact with management to discuss and explain issues affecting users
• Assist with proposals related to projects that will improve functionality and support
• Work with the compliance, internal and external audit groups to facilitate strong controls around user access and usage of the system as appropriate
• Create and maintain user roles and authorizations based on business needs
• Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions and access rights
• Provide production support of existing security roles and functions
• Create SAP transports and work within change management guidelines ensuring that all transports moved into production maintain system integrity
• Prepare test user IDs in order to facilitate business/project user testing in non-production environments
• Perform GRC configuration and use GRC tools in the creation and maintenance of security roles
• Provide on-call and weekend support when required to support acquisitions and projects
• Maintain file server permission using company’s filer server permission tool

Requirements

- Good command of English, and Ms Microsoft office
- SAP Security Basics, SAP Authorization Concept, Roles/Activity Groups, and User Administration
- Knowledge of security policies, regulations, compliance issues, and processes
- Understanding of emerging security trends and issues as related to both enterprise and personal usage of information technology
- Understanding of emerging technology
- Ability to rapidly assess a situation and identify, isolate and communicate problems and issues
- Good organizational, presentation and verbal communication skills
- Good writing skills for creating technical documentation
