IT Audit Manager

Job description / Role

Our client is a leading financial institution in U.A.E and seeking to recruit an IT Audit Manager for their Dubai operations.
As Team Leader to manage, direct and review complex IT audit and special assignments in accordance with the Internal Audit Charter and annual audit plan with a focus on applications, technology infrastructure (such as networks, databases, platforms), and IT processes (such as security, business continuity, change management, asset and service management.

Responsibilities:
• As Team Leader, management of Audit Assignments (IT Audits, investigations, special and IT project reviews).
• Assist in developing and updating the Audit universe, 3 Year and Annual Audit plan.
• For IT Governance and risk management aspects, contribute to continuous improvement activities supporting Internal Audit management
• Contribute to the amendment/development of IT Audit objectives and strategies where warranted
• Independently assess or supervise/evaluate the assessment of IT risks and attendant operational risks.
• Provide suitable recommendations to Head of Audit/Management to mitigate the same
• Responsible for planning, leading and performance of infrastructure reviews for adequacy of the Bank’s IT infrastructure

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Commerce, Finance, or Information Technology related subject
• IT audit qualification such as CISA/CISM/CISSP is required
• A minimum of 8-year experience in IT Audit experience
• Must have big4 experience (KPMG, PWC.)
• Excellent English communications skills
• Assertive in communicating audit concerns
