Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a highly renowned regional petroleum organisation. Our client is looking to hire an IT Business Partner to work within their offices in Dubai.
As the key intermediary between technology and the business, you will act as a technology consultant to the business, documenting the current and future IT requirements. You will be responsible for delivering these needs to the IT technical group and providing feedback to all business departments.
Additionally, you will manage the relationship between IT and business departments, being the regular direct contact between the two. You will also be responsible for developing ITIL processes and taking ownership of defining individual roles within the team such as Problem Manager or Change Manager.
Requirements
The successful candidate should hold a bachelor of science Degree in IT, engineering or applied sciences and preferably be ITIL V3 certified. It is essential you have a business facing background within a technical space coupled with a business knowledge of technical engineering, inventory or finance. A high standard of English communication and writing skills are crucial for this position.
