Job description / Role
IT Business Partner working with an International Banking Team.
Bridge the gap between the technical and business teams.
Client Details
The largest bank in the region undergoing a number of major projects.
Description
Support:
* Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.
* Business requirements management - ownership end to end (Business requirement documentation & review, scope solution research, solutions option proposal preparation, requirements scope management, managing user expectation)
* Business solution assurance - Requirements execution as per business need.
* Requirement Identification, Market Analysis and channel enhancements on a regular basis
* Monitor support escalation, project portfolio and requirement prioritization.
* Ensure IT Performance towards business and communicate performance at regular intervals.
* Seek input from Business counterparts for strategic initiatives.
* Collaborate with other Business Partners for cross Business Unit projects.
Support business and IT Strategy:
* Provide strategic guidance on International Banking to the business through research, market analysis, technology assessments, competitor assessment
* Provide input to enterprise architects on business roadmap and architecture consistency.
* Represent "business voice" in IT to ensure alignment between IT and business.
* Co-ordinate for required resources within IT departments as needed.
Business Assurance:
The business partner will also be required to perform the following activities from time to time through a team of business analysts. At times, the business partner is also expected to undertake these tasks:
* Conduct Business Solution analysis and develop detailed Business requirements
* Develop detailed functional scenarios
* Provide functionality walkthrough and prepare training material
* Execute sanity checks of deliverables before UAT delivery
Project Management:
* Track the delivery of IT Requirements and follow up with delivery teams.
* Managing the execution of Small/ Medium and large size projects.

Requirements
The role of the Business partner is to act as an interface between the relevant business unit and IT Integration. This role is expected to continuously engage with business units to understand the IT Integration requirements, guide the business unit in terms of technology direction and interface with the necessary IT Integration backend teams to get the solutions delivered to business unit in time.
The individual will be representing IT Integration in business forums and be an ambassador of IT Integration within the business units. The individual will provide strategic guidance for the business initiatives, manage the stakeholders within the businesses to ensure their satisfaction with IT services, be accountable for the delivery of the various IT Integration projects for the businesses.
