IT Governance Specialist

As an IT Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing IT governance strategies and frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing guidance to senior management on IT governance matters.

Description

* Develop and deploy IT governance strategies and frameworks, such as trust resilience framework and decision-making authority framework.
* Lead the creation, implementation, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and standards to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to industry best practices, including certifications like ITIL, TOGAF, COBIT, ISO, etc.
* Offer guidance and assistance to senior management and stakeholders regarding IT governance issues, including risk management, compliance, and performance monitoring.
* Assess and audit existing IT governance processes and controls to gauge effectiveness, and propose enhancements.
* Collaborate with various teams to integrate IT governance principles seamlessly into business processes and decision-making.
* Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in IT governance, and adjust strategies and frameworks accordingly.
* Act as a subject matter expert on IT governance matters, providing training and awareness initiatives to promote organizational understanding and adoption

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
* Must have certifications relevant to IT governance such as ITIL, TOGAF, COBIT, ISO, etc.
* 8 - 12 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
* Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
