Job description / Role

We are now recruiting to our office in Dubai:

IT HELPDESK

- Provide first line response for users requiring assistance with information technology issues and problems, within the Back Office as well as the Front Office requests.
- Respond to requests for technical assistance by phone, email and/or using a help desk management system.
- Track issues to resolve updating the internal knowledgebase and/or communicating learning with relevant business units.
- Escalate more involved problems to the appropriate Tier 2 and Tier 3 support teams
- Update daily status reports and shift handover reports.
- Act as a liaison between end users and technical escalation teams.
- Provide a single view to the organization for information technology related problems.

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology, along with minimum 1 yr of helpdesk expereince.
- Windows/Linux Operating systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Experience with software, hardware and equipment installs, repairs and upgrades.
- Common IT applications and common hardware knowledge
- Customer Service Skills
- Excellent Communication, written and verbal skills
- Telephone confidence
- Organizations skills
- Time Management
- Problem Solving
- Ability to run and terminate category 6 network wire
- Valid UAE driving license
