Job description / Role
A financial services client of ours are experiencing a period of sustained growth in the UAE and are looking to add to their IT Security Team.
Playing a leading role within the area of IT Security Operations, this role will involve daily administration of infosec solutions, system, tool and solution to address security threats. This will include Firewalls, IPS, Web and E-mail content filtering, Data Leakage Prevention and Network Admission control.
Candidates will also be required to carry out vulnerability and security risk assessments in collaboration with the wider IT Security Team.
Requirements
Successful candidates should hold a technical degree and should have extensive relevant experience working within IT / Information / Network Security domains.
Given the operational nature of the position, candidates will need a deep understanding of networking tools and technologies including TCP/IP, DNA, DHCP, SFTP, SMTP etc
Relevant work experience with Network and IT Security tools such as Cisco, Forti-gate, Juniper Firewalls, VPN, F5, Barrucuda etc are also required, as is knowledge of Data Leakage Prevention Solutions such as Web Sense / Symantec Vontu.
Similar experience in SIEM tools would be beneficial, as are any experience in vulnerability scanning tool such as IBM AppScan, HP Webinspect, Accunetix, etc
Candidates are expected to hold relevant industry recognised security certifications in accordance with the role.
