IT / Information Security Monitoring Penetration Testing Ethical Hacking – Financial Services

Job description / Role

A financial services client of ours are experiencing a period of sustained growth in the UAE and are looking to add to their IT Security Team with an experienced technologist focused on penetration testing and ethical hacking.

Playing a newly formed role within the area of IT Security, this role will involve the audit and assessment of the current security control effectiveness, as well as the evaluation, planning and conducting of security testing – including internal and external penetration testing.

The successful candidate will be required to develop and implement the security verification and assurance program in order to maintain best practice in line with international industry standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, FCA and PCI DSS.

The role will also involve the setup of a cyber forensic and security monitoring framework that will assist in the carrying out of investigations and proactive detection of threats.

Requirements

Candidates will also be required to assist in external compliance and auditing process in collaboration with the wider IT Security Team.

Successful candidates should hold a technical degree and should have extensive relevant experience working within the Information Security domain, especially within the penetration testing, ethical hacking and digital/cyber forensic field.

Candidates will be expected to have deep knowledge of both manual and automation penetration testing tools and solutions, and should hold relevant industry recognised certifications within this field.
