Job description / Role
This opportunity is with a large Government entity with their office based in Dubai, UAE.
As an IT Manager, you would be identifying the potential risks related to the information security, safety and reputation of the business and recommend possible solutions. You would ensure that the IT assets are updated and utilized. You would be responsible for managing all the electronic documents to maintain the consistency of records throughout the business’ system. You would be responsible for ensuring that the business is in compliance with all external regulatory authorities and safety critical element processes and standards.
Requirements
To be successful you would ideally possess 10+ years of experience in IT Management, of which 5+ years should be with an Oil and Gas industry at a senior IT level. You must have a Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Engineering or related field and a Project Management Professional Certificate. Having an ITIL certification is an advantage. You must have an extensive knowledge in IT Risk Management Framework, Process Control System and Industrial Control System.
