IT Manager (Head of IT)

Job description / Role

We are currently recruiting an IT Manager (Head of IT) on behalf of a prestigious UAE headquartered business. This is an excellent opportunity to take overall leadership of all technology operations & devise and develop policies and systems to implement strategies set out by the business.

Requirements

Applications are sought from those with at least 10 years plus experience within managing IT operations, setting IT strategy, managing budgets and staff performance. This will ideally include 5 years plus in the Oil & Gas industries at senior IT management level. It is essential you have a track record in delivering enterprise scale projects which must include ERP deployment and an understanding of process control networks or Industrial Control Systems. It is essential to have a good grasp of IT security frameworks and response strategies. Soft skills are essential with the ability to manage business stakeholders and enterprise scale change. You will have an excellent command of the English language combined with a Bachelors Degree in a technology related discipline. Industry certification such as ITIL and PMP/Prince2 are also desired.
