Job description / Role
Our client is a specialist investment group, focusing on the security industry across the UAE. Its mission is to ensure the UAE remains a leader in the security & defense industries by investing in cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and machine learning.
As a result of a recent acquisition, our client is looking to hire an individual to manage all IT systems for the business.
Responsibilities
• Setting up the Communication and Information Technology department (policies procedures, systems, employee JDs, strategy, budgeting reporting, etc.).
• ERP installation (systems analysis, engineering, mapping, sourcing technologies, contracts negotiation, taskforce, leadership, testing, system continuous support, etc.)
• Communications technologies (telephones, mobiles, teleconferencing, videoconferencing, emails, with related infrastructure and maintenance plans)
Requirements
• Demonstrable experience in an IT Manager role
• Must be bilingual (English & Arabic proficient),
• UAE national,
• 10+ years IT experience, and a bachelor’s degree holder as a minimum.
• Experience in ERP installation and management, IT infrastructure, system securities, and software/hardware management (procurement, maintenance, upgrades, optimization, automation, etc.)
• Experience in digital transformation, automation, systems & cyber security, robotic process automation, and artificial intelligence, would be highly desirable
