Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The unit is responsible for providing technical support services to constituent financial services companies within the holding company. The unit supports the business through effective management of suppliers and customer relationships. Suppliers include software and service providers; customers may be internal or external.

The post-holder will manage the end-to-end delivery of both small and large projects most of which will be provided by third-parties. Current projects include the implementation of an outsourced card management system, the migration of payroll data and services to this new platform and the certification of business and technical interfaces to card payment schemes.

The post-holder works closely with various internal cross-functional teams, clients, vendors, service providers, payment schemes, stakeholders, and other external entities to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality systems and services.

- Manage end-to-end delivery of projects from conceptualization, requirement consolidation, scoping, planning to execution and delivery.
- Collaborate with internal and external entities for aligning deliveries in accordance with business requirements and organizational expectations.
- Ensure all business requirements are captured, documented and met. Maintain project plans and ensure progress according to schedules.
- Prepare contingency plans and risk mitigation plans.
- Ensure completeness of detailed documentation in line with risk, audit and compliance requirements.
- Manage ongoing communication with all internal and external stakeholders with escalations wherever appropriate.
- Ensure effective implementation, handover to business and operations teams and post-implementation monitoring.

Requirements

- Financial services such as leasing, payments, payroll and remittances
- Card issuing and transaction acquiring models including back-office processes viz. reconciliation, settlement and disputes management.
- Payment technologies such as ATM, POS, CMS, ISO 8583 and EMV
- Conventional payment technologies plus emerging technologies and channels to include Internet and mobile
- A knowledge of exchange house businesses such as WPS, foreign exchange and remittances would be an advantage.

Overall, 8+ years’ business experience with minimum 6 years’ experience in the ‘end-to-end’ management and delivery of projects
