Job description / Role
The IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing the delivery of major/highly complex information/ technology projects that are part of the strategic, key technology direction within specific business functional area for a leading local Bank in the UAE.
* Responsible for the management & delivery of technology enabling change initiative projects and deliverables in high priority, medium or strategic level for respective functional area.
* Develop project plan / schedule and define project milestones. Provide quality assurance to project deliverables and responsible for project risk management.
* Establish and manage project communication and provide regular updates on projects cost, scope and timelines to all Stakeholders for ongoing projects and initiatives.
* Uses program and project management tools and techniques throughout the whole life cycle of the project, while ensuring maintaining documents associated with project as per the bank's policies.
* Support business groups to develop detailed business cases for initiatives requiring CEC approval in coordination with business and other supporting units.
* Establish a working relationship with project stakeholders, resolve concerns about the impact of the project on their area of responsibility and gain their commitment to the overall project objectives.
* Develop project approvals, RFPs, TOR and other project related documentation within scope of the subject matter of the project
* Responsible for overall project administration - management of project plan and project reporting
* Manage project resources - assemble project team, assign individual responsibilities and coordinate project activities, including vendor resources as required
* Ensure documentations are in place, including transition documents, Technical document procedures etc

Requirements
* Project Management - Manage major cash management implementation projects / initiatives while handling multiple projects / tasks at the same time.
* Cash Management Domain - Profound knowledge in managing Cash Management and related applications, its architecture & functional aspects. Domain includes Payments, Liquidity Management, SWIFT, Internet Banking, Host-2-Host, and GLs & Core-banking Systems.
* Channels interacting with corporate customers including SMS Banking, Internet Banking, Token Solutions and other authentications methods.
* Strong experience in team building and leadership skills in a service culture, are required
* Working knowledge and experience of banking operations and ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Arabic an advantage
