IT Security & Systems Officer

Job description / Role

We are seeking an IT Security & Systems Officer on behalf of our client, an established automotive
company. You'll establish and maintain an effective IT governance framework aligned with industry best practices. Responsibilities include enhancing IT risk management, supporting IT process improvement, ensuring successful IT audits, managing application activities, driving digitalization, and overseeing projects.

Main Responsibilities:
• Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating IT-related risks.
• Develop risk management strategies and integrate them into IT processes.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT governance practices.
• Provide regular updates to management.
• Collaborate with procurement for effective vendor management, including evaluating contracts and performance metrics.
• Develop and deliver training on IT security policies, processes, and best practices.
• Manage the BIA-IT process to assess potential IT disruptions and develop business continuity strategies.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute IT audits for regulatory compliance.
• Oversee Group Security Program implementation, including security policies and incident response.
• Manage application lifecycle, including evaluation, implementation, and retirement.
• Drive digitalization initiatives for process enhancement and efficiency.
• Provide oversight for IT project management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Setup and manage IT Planning Round Process, including budget reviews with Head of IT.

Requirements

Key Competencies & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Extensive experience in information security and systems management.
• Strong knowledge of IT frameworks, cybersecurity protocols, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficient in managing various IT systems and applications, including ERP and CRM solutions
• Highly desirable to have certification in information security (CISSP, CISM).
• Highly desirable to have CISA, or equivalent IT audit qualification.
• Desirable to have ITIL or equivalent Service Management qualification.
• Desirable to have PMP or equivalent project management qualification
