Job description / Role
This opportunity is with a large Government entity with their office based in Dubai, UAE.
As an IT Support, you would be responsible to provide technical IT assistance to all the end-users. You will manage the build, distribution and inventory of computer equipment, applications and accessories. You would be conducting research and providing cost analysis data when upgrading or purchasing new hardware, software or equipment. You will be responsible to track and manage the progress of customer support issues from initial capture to resolution. You will manage and maintain the active directory and end-user system. You will escalate support issues as necessary to other team members.
Requirements
To be successful you would ideally possess 5+ years of related experience in System Administration, Networking or IT Support roles. You should have a Bachelor’s Degree in IT or other related field and must have IT certifications. You should have extensive knowledge of the MS Office Suite, Windows and Linux.
