Job description / Role
You will be responsible for managing IT Technical Services staff, planning and implementing department needs while monitoring plans, teams and processes. These functions requires to administer budgets and maintain competent staff. Span of control includes operating systems, back office systems, end User Support, networks and telecommunication systems. The incumbent must have skills to manages a team of Information Technology professionals. The primary responsibility of the Technical Services Manager is to devise and manage the strategic vision for Hospital IT infrastructure.

Requirements
Educational Requirements:
* Degree in computer science or information systems
* MBA or Masters in Information technology/informatics
Professional Experience/ Knowledge:
* 5 years' experience managing and/or directing Information Technology staff or projects
* Minimum of 5 years healthcare experience
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in various technical position/s
* Proven experience in project management and policy development
* Experience with technical designs and implementation to day-to-day operational management
* Extensive experience with Server, Storage, Data Management and Back Office Systems for various Healthcare and Business systems (EMR, ERP) Technologies
* Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical and business problems
* In-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to IT
* Demonstrable consultative and relationship building abilities
Specialised Skills:
* Proved Leadership skills
* Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products
* Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
* Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail
* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
* Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
