Employment: Full Time

Responsibility:
The employee is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to users of computer systems, software, and hardware. This may involve answering questions, troubleshooting problems, installing and configuring software, and providing technical support over the phone or in person.

Some specific responsibilities of a technical IT support person may include:
• Responding to technical support requests from users via phone, email, or in person
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical problems with computer systems, software, and hardware
• Installing and configuring software and hardware
• Maintaining inventory and documentation of computer systems, software, and hardware
• Updating and maintaining technical support knowledge base
• Providing training and instruction to users on computer systems, software, and hardware
• Escalating complex technical problems to higher level IT support staff or vendors
• Providing support for mobile devices and laptops

Requirements

The specific job requirements for an IT support role will vary depending on the specific needs of the organization. However, some common requirements may include:
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Technical certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
• Experience in technical support, preferably in a corporate or enterprise environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A good understanding of computer systems, software, and hardware
• Experience with operating systems such as Windows and Linux

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
