Job description / Role
- Processing accounts payable.
- Processing payroll.
- Handling petty cash.
- Reconciling bank and other balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
- Preparing monthly fund requirement statement.
- Assisting in monthly/quarterly/annual closing of books and subsequent reporting.
- Assisting in preparing audit schedules and working closely with the auditors to ensure that auditing is completed in time.
- Assisting in preparing various MIS reports.
- Other ad-hoc accounting and admin duties.
Requirements
- Sound accounting knowledge with an accounting degree from a recognized university and/or other accounting qualification.
- Minimum 2 years accountancy experience with at least 1 year experience in the UAE.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in accounting procedures.
- Good written and spoken communication skills.
- Structured and well organized.
