Junior Financial Analyst

Job description / Role

The Junior Financial Analyst mainly provides financial control and analytical support. This position is exposed to confidential financial statements and the strategic initiatives of the Company.

Main Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis
- Performs financial analysis to support management decisions regarding new business development, capital investment, operating efficiency, and revenue forecasting
- Develop and maintain various financial models to support the business and improve processes and company procedures.
- Review, finalize, and discuss the P & L of new projects with Financial Controller before meeting the Commercial team. Prepares and submits to Management IRR and payback reports
- Review, finalize, consolidate, and discuss the buying budget per season with the Commercial Team. Ensure company procedures are respected in terms of sales budgets and stock level but also considering Commercial’s input on the brand’s direction for the season in terms of product mix and sales forecast

Internal Control
- Provide Internal Control, ensure compliance with all Group Policies & Procedures and assist departments in running their businesses.
- Reviews the interim and annual audit report of all companies before submitting to Management for approval.
- Submits and updates buying monitoring file of all companies and all brands and ensure that all buying budgets are being followed and respected.

Internal Consulting
- Assist and provide analysis and recommendations on annual and revised budgets, challenge assumption and propose revisions.

Reporting
- Maintain and distribute various operational reports to management and Commercial managers.
- Review, finalize and submit the monthly and audited financial reports and highlight significant financial issues for their information and/or for resolution
- Finalize and submit the annual audited financial reports of the Consolidated and Combined financials of the Group to Management

Requirements

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
- Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Finance or related subjects
- Fluent in English
- Advanced Excel skills
