Junior Interior Designer

Job description / Role

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with Design Manager and Sales Executives to obtain knowledge of the clients' requirements.
* Deliver creative and self-explanatory mood boards and design proposals for B2B and B2C clients, focusing on all aspects of space-planning to styling & décor.
* Work directly with clients and present design proposals.
* Construct architectural and shop drawings for interior design projects to translate concepts into reality.
* Prepares Bill of quantities in excel format.
* Prepare sample boards for client presentations as per the approved design.
* Propose full accessories within the moodboards and BOQs to convey complete interior spaces to clients.
* Able to look through joinery drawings shared by appointed contractors and suppliers for custom-made furniture and fit-out works.
* Attentive to design details to ensure the quality of design concept is well executed.
* Ability to multi-task; meet deadlines and is eager to learn and grow with the company.
* Coordinate with both B2B & B2C designers to meet professional standards and deadlines.
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Requirements:

* Interior / Architecture Design background - 2-4 years experience
* BS degree in Interior Design or similar
* Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.
* Proficient in AutoCAD software
* Proficient in Google Sketchup
* Proficient in Sketchup Layout
* Basic knowledge in Adobe Photoshop
* Basic knowledge in MS Office
