Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing key accounts, maintaining a long term relationship with accounts and maximizing sales opportunities within them.

- Play an integral role in new business pitches and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients
- Maintain and update all contact information of the assigned accounts
- Establish and maintain continuous and timely communication of prospective, existing, lost and non-purchasing accounts
- Responsible for the development of a strong pipeline in order to achieve sales targets allocated through the assigned accounts and other direct sales channel
- Focusing on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business
- You will act as the key interface between the customers/key account and all relevant divisions throughout the sales cycle.

Requirements

- Previous experience in Account Management or Territory Sales
- Previous experience with Military (internal or external)
- Display a go getter attitude
- Experience of managing high level contacts and accounts
- Ability to communicate extremely professionally with high ranking military personnel and government officials
- Previous experience in dealing with high net worth contracts and transaction
- Multilingual
- Strong report writing skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Presentation skills
- Strong ability to learn technical information required to perform the required duties
- Ability to work under high pressure and plan / prioritize workload
- Attention to detail
- Ability to use own initiative
- Proactive & innovative approach to problem solving
- Highly self-motivated
- Accountable, Reliable, Mature work ethic
- Available to travel

Experience in any OR all of the following industries;
- Automotive (sales/after-sales/service & maintenance)
- Heavy Machinery
- Paramilitary
- Military supplies
- Mechanical Engineering
- Security & Intelligent Experience
- Knowledge of Salesforce, MS, Outlook
