Job description / Role
- Would be responsible for the listing of Fashion accessories at all Duty free stores within Africa region.
- To co-ordinate with vendors/brand owners for order placements.
- Understand and monitor the category dynamics in the market place. Understand the brands that do well in specific markets.
- Gather market feedback and help locations to determine appropriate positioning and feature to gain competitive advantage in a targeted segment.
- To stay informed on trends, innovations, and changes that affect the Category.
- To coordinate with the Duty Free POS and create product awareness and impart training/knowledge to the key members handling the category at POS.
- Coordinate with brand owners on new products launched in the market, evaluation of the -product and placement at POS.
- Create MIS reports on a monthly basis.
- Do comparative study and price analysis to understand the market trends in terms of pricing (buying + selling)
- Willing to travel to all Duty Free POS within Africa to place orders/conduct for Fashion accessories

- Dynamic ‘can do’ attitude passion and high levels of initiative together with a keen sense of desire to see results of initiatives.
- Ability to communicate with clarity and persuasion, empathy and respect with high energy levels.
- Evidence of passion, achievements and leadership.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multicultural environment building strong relationships
- Travel in Africa is required 50% of the time.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking.
- Very strong in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English (spoken / written / writing). French an advantage but not essential
- Candidate must have a minimum height of 160 cm and above.
