Kitchen Steward - Th8 Palm

To perform and execute back of the house cleaning and sanitation duties and ensuring the highest standards of cleaning, hygiene and sanitation at all times.

Hotel Overview:

Th8 Dubai is a pre-opening 5* hotel, located at the Palm Jumeirah Island, inspired by the fashion, glamour and jet-set lifestyle of the cool white sands and art deco scene of Miami Beach. The hotel boasts of its direct beach access with uninterrupted views of the Palm, Dubai's iconic skyline and the Arabian Sea that will provide an ultimate luxury experience at the Palm Jumeirah. The project has a total of 121 guest rooms and suites and 3 food beverage outlets with creative & unique concepts. In addition the hotel also features meeting facilities covering over 200 square meters that can host a range of events from small corporate meetings, product launches and team building activities to outdoor receptions and bespoke social events beach and poolside.

RESPONSABILITIES:

- To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name badges at all times
- Perform duties as assigned by the Stewarding Supervisor
- Perform general cleaning duties as assigned by the Stewarding Supervisor in accordance with established standards of performance and schedules.
- Ensure the safe, correct and economic use of Stewarding equipment that includes|:
- Dishwashing Machine
- Glass washing Machine
- Pot Washing Machine
- Floor Cleaning and Maintenance machines
- Silver Burnishing Machine
- Transportation Vehicles
- Clean, wash, polish dishes and other operating equipment in any Food and beverage outlet according to the established hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Clean, wash pots, pans and other kitchen utensils in accordance with the established hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Count, sort and prepare operating equipment for Banquet functions.
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

- Good communication skills
- Previous experience in Hotel in the Stewarding department
- Knowledge of chemical such as Ecolab and Diversity
- Good physical condition and able to stand for long hours
