Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Safely handle dangerous, toxic and corrsive chemicals and demonstrate competency in operating sophisticated laboratory equipment
- Conduct chemical and physical analysis of various materials and metals.
- Recommend process chemical setting / adjustment to respective operation department
- Perform stability and calibration analysis
- Interpret test and analysis results and prepare report
- Maintain a record of all results obtained and report abnormalities to the chemist, head of section and production department
- Investigate any abnormal results by carrying out duplicate analysis, checking instrument calibration or running standard samples
- Ensure compliance with company safety policy and procedures

Requirements

- Knowledge of principles and techniques of quantitative and qualitative chemical laboratory analysis
- Skills in the operation of laboratory equipment
- Ability to conduct physical and chemical analysis and tests
- Ability to interpret the results and prepare reports
