Job description / Role
WAHO Landscape Architects is a specialist practice based in Dubai and is involved in a number of high profile projects in the United Arab Emirates and internationally. WAHO's primary focus is the design and delivery of quality public open spaces, hotels and culturally significant landscapes.
WAHO currently has an opening for a dynamic and talented landscape architect to join our Dubai based team. We are looking for individuals who are committed to the profession and looking to contribute to the development of leading landscape proposals.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with WAHO design team and external consultants on the development of leading hard and soft landscape projects.
- Take a lead on the concept design and documentation of public open space projects.
- Coordinate with project consultancy team and client representative to effectively deliver the landscape component of the development.
- Contribute to the design and preparation of international landscape competitions.
Requirements
- Capable of working in a collaborative environment.
- Able to develop positive relationships with external consultants and client representatives.
- Proficient in Photoshop, AutoCAD, InDesign, MS Office.
- High level of written and spoken English.
- Academic qualification, preferably in Landscape Architecture.
- Confident enough to analyze, challenge and develop various design approaches.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a landscape architect.
