Job description / Role
Our client is a specialist practice based in Dubai who is involved in a number of high profile projects in the United Arab Emirates and internationally. Their primary focus is the design and delivery of quality public open spaces, hotels and culturally significant landscapes.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the design team and external consultants on the development of leading hard and soft landscape projects.
- Take a lead on the concept design and documentation of public open space projects.
- Coordinate with project consultancy team and client representative to effectively deliver the landscape component of the development.
- Contribute to the design and preparation of international landscape competitions.
Requirements
- Capable of working in a collaborative environment.
- Able to develop positive relationships with external consultants and client representatives.
- Proficient in Photoshop, AutoCAD, InDesign, MS Office.
- High level of written and spoken English.
- Academic qualification, preferably in Landscape Architecture.
- Confident enough to analyze, challenge and develop various design approaches.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a landscape architect.
