Job description / Role
- Participate in presentation of cost estimation reviews (CAPEX) with internal parties & external stakeholders
- Support assets/Projects in preparation for peer review / assessment of capital cost estimates for robustness before submissions to senior management and/or stakeholders
- Conduct audits and/or reviews of the Projects performance in the context of cost estimation
- Implementation of regulatory documentation with regards to Costing and Risk; update of the existing procedures and support in the development of the new ones for effective performance of the Projects.
- Control over usage of corporate procedures during execution of all Capital Construction Projects; adaptation of the procedures to specifics of each Project.
- Consultancy services on application of Company’s technical standards in the context of Cost Estimation
- Providing training for cost estimating personnel for the Company’s Projects
- Identify areas for development and foster continuous improvement and innovation within the discipline area.
Requirements
- Engineering Degree
- A valid cost engineering credential is desirable
- Experienced user of ACCE/KBase (Aspentech Capital Cost Estimator) is a must
- 10 years of relevant cost estimating experience in all phases of oil and gas projects with both Operators and Contractors are compulsory
- Estimating competence for all levels of Estimates (AACE designation)
- Technical requirements to prepare MTO’s from plan prints
- Technical requirements to read P&ID’s
- Technical requirements to read and interpret design specifications
