Your new role
As a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer, you will collaborate with business stakeholders to test products with the goal of delivering high-quality releases.
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Contribute to and progress the existing automation test suite (developed in Selenium with Java platform)
- Offer detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Plan, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
- Recognise, record, document thoroughly and track bugs - Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Liaise with stakeholders - Developers and Product Managers to identify system requirements
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts

Requirements

What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in leading a team
- Strong in API testing
- Great knowledge within Python/Java/Javascript
- Exposure in UI automation with Selenium/cypress/puppeteer;
- Good Experience with Linux + Docker + Kubernetes (k8s) + NoSQL (ElasticSearch)
- JMeter/Locust/Gatling testing experience is highly appreciated
